Carben Weghorn

Originally from the small town of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Carben completed his undergraduate studies and earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. During that time, he gained interest and experience in synthetic (in)organic chemistry from KU's REU program working under Dr. Mikhail Barybin. Currently, Carben is pursuing a Ph.D. In chemistry at the University of Kansas. Outside of the lab, Carben likes to spend time gaming with friends, reading, and hiking around cool places whenever time and money allow.
