Grace Rout

Grace was raised in Corydon, Indiana and earned her B.S. in Chemistry and B.S. in Biology from the University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana. She conducted undergraduate research under Dr. Greg Weber on the roles of keratins 18 and 19 in early development of Xenopus laevis, the African clawed frog. She is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry under Dr. Manar Shoshani at the University of Kansas. When not in the lab, Grace enjoys D&D podcasts, open-world video games, and lazy days on the couch with her two cats.
