Biography

Jordan grew up in the small town of Mt. Morris, Il where he got his A.S. at Highland Community College located in Freeport, Il. After this, Jordan continued his pursuit of higher education at the University of Wyoming where he conducted research into POP-ligand systems of Rhodium and Iridium for activation of dichloromethane. Completing his B.S. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology, Jordan continued his academic career at K-State where he completed his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Peter Sues and Dr. Ryan Rafferty. During his time at K-State, Jordan's studies focused on two major areas: Phosphinimide-Ruthenium complexes for fast-initiation in ring-opening metathesis polymerization and the synthesis of pyrrolide supported di- and tetranuclear Cu(I) complexes
