Nathan Liao

Nathan was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, after which he got shipped out to the great renowned Omaha, Nebraska to complete his undergraduate schooling at Creighton University. At Creighton, Nathan completed a B.S in Chemistry and was a part of the inorganic research group with Dr. Eric Villa. This involved the crystallization and synthesis of lanthanides with calcogenophenecarboxylates, looking to understand their bonding motifs and the different structures they produce. Nathan is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Kansas, continuing work with inorganic chemistry. Nathan enjoys climbing, never losing at Mario Kart Wii, Popeyes, and listening to music in his spare time.
