Biography —
Riddhi was born and raised in Mumbai, India, where she completed my B.Sc. in Chemistry at Bhavan's College and my M.Sc. at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT). After earning a master's degree, Riddhi taught undergraduate organic chemistry, which inspired her to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Kansas (KU). Under the mentorship of Prof. James Blakemore, Riddhi conducted research in the field of Inorganic Chemistry, focusing on transition metals and f-elements, and graduated with honors in May 2024. Currently, Riddhi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Shoshani lab, focusing on organometallic synthesis, high-pressure reactions, and contributing to the establishment of a new laboratory alongside Manar. Outside the lab, Riddhi enjoys cooking for friends and dancing like nobody’s watching! Looking ahead, Riddhi is excited to continue contributing to advancements in inorganic chemistry.
